Foresight Summer Events - July/August 1999
A series of Foresight events across the summer of 1999, featuring special events and venue collaborations.
Events:
- July 23rd: #samba-ya-bamba (extra night with an appearance by samba-ya-bamba, providing live percussion for a distinctive first for Foresight)
- July 30th: Foresight - Last Friday of the month at Koh-i-noor
- August 5th: Foresight @ Yang, Queen St, Glasgow (first Thursday of every month)

The samba-ya-bamba collaboration was particularly notable - bringing live percussion to a techno/electronic event was innovative for the time, reflecting the cross-pollination of musical styles that characterized the late 90s dance music scene.
The Yang collaboration marked Foresight’s expansion beyond its Koh-i-noor home, taking over the first Thursday of each month at the Queen Street venue.
