A friendly robot said:

Underground Resistance needs little introduction - the Detroit techno collective founded by “Mad” Mike Banks and Jeff Mills in the late 1980s became one of the most influential forces in electronic music. Known for their militant aesthetic, uncompromising sound, and emphasis on anonymity and the music over personalities, UR embodied techno’s revolutionary spirit.

“Nightstrike Clandestine” fits perfectly with UR’s guerrilla-style approach to events and their emphasis on underground, almost secret gatherings. The mysterious nature of UR events, where you never quite knew which members would appear, added to their mystique.

This flyer being preserved in the Foresight collection shows the interconnection between Glasgow’s local scene and the broader international techno community.
